chris-strub-socialmediaedgeJoin us LIVE on Tuesday, August 9, at 11AM Eastern/8AM Pacific as we are joined by…

Chris Strub is the first man to live-stream and Snapchat in all 50 U.S. states; and he did it with purpose. From May 15 to Aug. 21, 2015, Chris volunteered with a different youth organization in each state, documenting and sharing his adventure with the world using various social mediums. He’s currently working with Humana in Louisville to help community organizations improve their social storytelling skills. His book, 50 States, 100 Days: The Book, is available now at his website,

Chris is going to answer questions about live streaming using social channels like Blab, Snapchat, and others. His forte is what we need, “storytelling skills”.

Please join us live, if you can, and get in the chatroom. We’ll be on Blog Talk Radio live and the iTunes store (for free) after the show.

Sunny Lenarduzzi – The Social Broadcaster

sunny-lenarduzzi-social-media-edgeLISTEN LIVE MARCH 1 AT 8AM PAC/11AM EAST

I met Sunny on Twitter, then YouTube, then SnapChat, now on Social Media Edge. My guess is that while we’re on SMEDGE she’ll have several posts going out, and I’m not sure she sleeps. In fact, either she has 3 brains and 9 arms or she’s uber-natural. Prolific, constant, focused, and illustrative…yeah, those words work.

Here’s the cool thing: She’s actually “just” human. She believes in authentic communication–rings a bell, doesn’t it? Everything she does you can do. Here’s the really cool part: she even teaches how to do what she does. If you need that extra something to power you over the hill in your marketing or if you want to market yourself and monetize it–Sunny’s the go-to.

Are you ready for this?

I’m still learning about Sunny and trying to keep up with all the great info she’s creating but I need your help. Here’s just a little teaser to get you started:

…launched a self study course called Recording for Revenue to help brands use social video from Snapchat to YouTube to develop their business
…grew her youtube channel from 500 subscribers and 15,000 views to 21,500 subscribers and 1.3 million views in 9 months
…partnered with Hootsuite on a social media news series called Social Update
…hit 1 billion impressions in 1 day with Applebee’s Taste the Change campaign
…spoke to members of government from around the world on the power of using video to connect with the public at NATO’s social media summit in Belgium in September
…has the top ranking Snapchat tutorial on YouTube

“Outrageous Authenticity” Author Leigh Brown

Leigh Brown's intelligence and wit come together in perfect form.

Leigh Brown’s intelligence and wit come together in perfect form.

Among other accomplishments Leigh has published another “must read” book. Authenticity is much more than a buzz word for her; She lives life wide open and opened wide for everyone to see.

Grab your Kindle or print copy here ->

“The No BS Realtor in Greater Charlotte NC. International speaker who uses real estate for comedic material and hyper-effective sales training.”

I (Ken) have known Leigh since 2008 both online and on rare, but treasured, occasion in sharing geographical space. We’re a little too much alike. She’s outspoken, fearless, focused, and prone to hilarity. And re-reading that it sounds as if I paid myself a huge compliment! The good thing about Leigh is you know she’s going to say something worth hearing. The exciting thing is you don’t know if it’s going to be dead-pan serious or comedic…I’m sure the listener will gather that during her time with us on the show!

This from fits just perfectly, “She is also a longtime speaker on real estate issues. Before she started working in real estate, her sales career included liquor, stocks, and chain saws.” Yep, chain saws and liquor.

Guest Bill Risser of The Real Estate Sessions Podcast

bill-risserJoin Mike & Ken as we welcome Bill Risser, VP of Digital Strategy at Chicago Title and talk about podcasting. Imagine that; PODCASTING! Who does that anymore?

Bill got interested in Podcasts a year ago and decided to start his own. In a stroke of genius he decided to choose the interview format to not be another advice show. (We think that may be a great way to roll.) In his role with Chicago Title, he has already been asked to help with new podcasts. His advice? “Always be learning and it helps to be curious.”

January 19, 2016: Jeff Belonger of MyPhillyAlive

We have known Jeff, through social media, since around 2007 or so. His continued presence, growth, and excitement in the industry makes him the perfect “People’s Guest”. Jeff has earned his stripes by doing. He’s not a guru, he’s a doer. Today we hope to learn what drives him and how he has accomplished a major shift in careers and grabbed success even in a challenging economy.

Jeff Belonger, founder of

Jeff in Jeff’s words:

After spending 19 years in the mortgage business I had lost my passion and felt a need for a change, leaving in 2010. In my last 4 years of the mortgage business I created my social media profiles on various social media platforms. I used them to connect with others while getting the proper information out there to the public. I started this in 2006 and because of it I was able to increase my income during the 2008 mortgage crisis; while many others weren’t doing as well.

I took the same philosophy I had when doing mortgages and that was to stay on top of the changes while getting the correct information out there. I pride myself in learning the specifics in what can help the average business and not just repeat what others do just because it looks good.  Understanding the mechanics of each social media platform is extremely important.

Since 2011 I have been managing small business social media plans for my customers, and at times speaking about the many uses of social media. I also started a company called MyPhillyAlive, a blog site that talks about the many things to do in Philadelphia.
